Book Review by Mrs. Burnham: Everybody Sees the Ants is a story about a boy, Lucky, who is dealing with being bullied by a kid in his class. After a particularly vicious attack, Lucky's mom swoops away with Lucky to Arizona to visit extended family. While in Arizona, Lucky learns about becoming a man and standing up for himself from his uncle, all the while dreaming about what his grandfather experienced while fighting in the Vietnam War. This story is a class "coming-of-age" story that everyone can relate to.
